Highlights including traversing Wilpena Pound and an ascent of St Mary Peak; a geological ‘time-trip’ through Brachina Gorge, a cradle of earth’s earliest life-forms; and the soothing desert oasis of Blinman pools and Parachilna Gorge.

Each day’s walk has been planned to ensure walkers enjoy popular scenic highlights, as well as some real outback space and solace, treading where only a few have been before. When the evenings begin to fill with stars, walkers relax in four-star luxury accommodation, including the North Star Hotel (Melrose), Wilpena Pound Resort and the Prairie Hotel (Parachilna).
